The health preoccupations, derived from the exhibition to electromagnetic fields (EMF) are not new. The radiations emited by the electric lines (0-100 Hertz, or ELF interval on the electromagnetic spectrum) have been coming investigating for more than twenty years. In our daily life, all we are exposed to the radiations emited by diverse apparatuses, like the domestic ones (microwaves furnaces, toasters, dryers of hair, PC screens), the industrial systems of heating and electrical transforming, the radio and TV transmitters, the burglar alarm systems, the normal electrical circuits, the apparatuses of remote control and, by all means, mobile phones, that actually are being put under a rigorous investigation. The combined radiation of all these sources is denominated, sometimes, “electrosmog”. The frequency of emited fields by these diverse sources, that are distributed by all spectrum EMF, determines its physical properties, like the capacity to transport energy and to warm up or to penetrate the matter.

Therefore, at the moment we are immersed within great technological advances, that on the one hand do the most comfortable life to us but of another one they can be harming our health and well-being seriously. Nowadays we cannot let use mobile phones, television and other household-electric ones; and often we are not conscious of the real danger that its transmissions are:

Hyland, (1986) affirms that “the waves used by the mobile phones are of the same frequency that the cerebral alpha waves, reason why, although the intensity is very low, the brain this specially sensitized to this frequency”.
